The PM & PMO Conference BRIDGE is taking sustainability to the next level! This year, same as previous, we are saying goodbye to conference goodie bags and hello to planting trees. For every attendee that joins us onsite, we will plant a tree in their honor. You will receive a personalized certificate that proudly displays that you've made a positive impact on the planet.
We are partnering with VŠĮ Myliu Mišką, a non-profit organization that is an expert in forestry and has a goal to increase the forest area in Lithuania and neutralize the negative impact of CO2 emissions. The trees will be taken care of for 8 years until they become a forest and are under the supervision of national authorities. Learn more about VšĮ Myliu Mišką and their work at their website.
To neutralize the carbon footprint of one person, it's recommended to plant at least 27 trees a year. Our PMU team has set a target to plant 3000 trees this year and provide an opportunity for you to plant a tree yourself at the tree planting festival.
